So, I've been looking around a bit on the steampage and forums but not seen anything. Therefor I have a questions

Is the multiplayer only with invitation? As in, can I only play with Steamfriends?
Or is there an option to search for a random player and be matched with?

You have to create a separate playdek account so the people you play don't have to be on Steam.

Once you have that, you just browse for games from the TS app. There's also a simple chat lobby to allow out of game communication (and an in game chat too).

There's also a basic friend system inside the TS app so you can add people you play there if you wish.

A note to the developer, if you read this;
You should add this information more clearly to the store page. While I can only speak for myself, being unable to find this information stopped me from buying the game(which otherwise looks great!)
