It's been a while since I even looked at the UI, is it possible you get the 3rd after the first 2 are placed?
Otherwise, Purge must be in effect, reducing your OPs by 1.
Thank you for replying so promptly.
It's the next turn now, so I cannot go back check. I did try test-playing-out the Influences (and then Undo) and even for those I did play as Influences I never seemed to get any extra +1. I was disappointed!
I don't know if it makes any difference, but I am playing this game with USSR having a "+1" on the "game balance" when you start the game, to help out while I learn. I didn't quite understand what that does, is it relevant here?
You can still check the tabs at the bottom of the screen to see if Brezhnev Doctrine was actually played for the event, or for OPs.
I see it's a MidGame card. Next time I play, is there any (simple) cheaty way to give myself that card at the start to test?
Yep, I am aware of that, thanks. In any case I was playing what Ops I had not into opponent-controlled.
I asked whether it might be possible to have a "cheat" means to allocate myself that mid-game card from the start? But from Googling I didn't see there is a way to do this?
