Star Wars copy effect

I played Voice of America twice and then used Star Wars to copy it for the third time. I'm just wondering if that counts as playing Voice of America three times for the achievement or if I need to play them all from hand.

I know achievements are bugged but if I have legitimately attained one I'll trigger it with SAM. So did I legitimately attain this one?

All the hidden achievements are stuck at 0.1% global attainment so it's hard to say whether you 'legitimately' got it since there isn't really a way to police it. My opinion: you did!
