It seems achievements aren't working

I get the impression the achievements aren't working properly. I got the one for having received 8 p when scoring SE Asia, which I didn't. And I also tried to finish the tutorial, just to get the achievement, and I didn't get it. I normally don't care about achievements much, but for this game there are so few that I figured I'd try to clear them all.

While I'm at it, the hardest one seems to be "Thirteen Days" (winning the game via the Cuban Missile Crisis). How exactly would that work?

I also got SE Asia 8p achievement wrongfully. Playing USSR, I headlined SE Asia scoring card, US headlined The Voice of America, removed USSR influence from four countries in SE Asia and US scored 1 point. Then on the first turn I played Europe scoring (I had control of europe), so game ended and I got SE Asia achievement.

Both spacing achievements don't work at all (first to advance, and win after reaching the end).

Final Scoring victory message (and achievement) is also slightly bugged: If you win by 20+ points because of Final Scoring, it will count it as a point win, rather than a Final Scoring win. Not a big deal, but not technically correct either.

Winning by Cuban Missile Crisis, as you say, is a silly achievement because other than a brain fart by your opponent, it is literally impossible.

I guess you'd need to headline it at the same time as your opponent headlines something that will lower defcon, and which is triggered after CMC. Not inconceivable, but unlikely. The AI might very well do it though, since it sometimes headlines e.g. Lone Gunman at DEFCON2 etc. So if you're just out to clear the achievement (if it even works!) then playing the AI is probably your best shot :)

To get the tutorial achievement you have to play the tutorial game all the way to a conclusion. Just going through the first tutorial turns isn't enough.

Anyone have any thoughts how to get some of the hidden achievements with no description and 0% (i.e. Chinese Democracy)?
