"The Stevenson Conundrum" - meaning?
Most of the achievement names I've figured out what they're referencing, but I can't decypher this one. I'm thinking it's referring to Adlai "Don't Wait For The Translation" Stevenson but I'm not sure what winning the game despite being dominated in 4 out of 6 regions has to do with him.

It's an inside joke for the development team, referencing one of the first games we completed during early development.

According to the game credits, Randall Stevenson is one of the two Senior Programmers who worked on the game. Later in the credits, the text

"Special thanks to Randall Stevenson for not giving up."

appears, which we'd all love to hear more about! :steamhappy:

Good trivia! However, the achievement didn't unlock for me, despite controlling Europe when I played Europe Scoring and the opponent had Dominated Asia, Middle East, Africa, and South America.

What happened here for me?

In my Steam version of TS, the Stevenson Conundrum text is:

"Win a game by any means when your opponent has Domination in at least 4 regions."

Any means = European Control, DEFCON Suicide, Final Scoring. Yet it didn't unlock for me.

Agreed - I just played a game winning via scoring track and didn't unlock. I saved a screenshot because it was the second time :(
