Nixon plays the Chinese Civil War

When the US midwar event "Nixon Plays the China Card" fires while the Chinese Civil War is still in effect, the result is as if the US holds the China Card. Rather than granting the US the China card facedown, the US gains 2 VP. I'm not sure if that's as intended, since clearly the US does not hold the card (although I can see if the intent is not to break the card out of the Civil War lock).

It's in the rulebook: "For the purposes of playing Ussuri River Skirmish or Nixon Plays the China Card as events, the US is deemed to be in possession of the China Card if the Soviet Player has not yet placed the 3 Influence Points on the Chinese Civil War space."
