Same here, Stream Error - Missing executable in a little window trying to launch the game. Not only that, the game downloaded it in a nano-second, there should be a MUCH bigger file to download that what I downloaded.

I tried verifying the integrity of the game files, it passed. Launching the game from Steam also resulted in the same error.

Oh right. So? ..So it's no big deal. I love paying $15 USD for a game that downloads a 13 byte file that won't do anything.

Ah okay, I guessed that but wasn't sure.

There's no use being upset man. Don't refund it or anything until you get the game up and working and give it a try! The developers will get it working I'm betting really quickly or figure out a work around to solve the problem. Hang tight my friend!

I hope this helps.. but I just found the folder on my computer under Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common > Vortex The Gateway...
And there is nothing there but a folder. No files what-so-ever.

Like I said, I knew that the file said it was finished downloading way too quickly.

I have tried deleting the files and redownloading a few times, but get the same result.

After install there are no files from Vortex in my Steam directory (0 Bytes downloaded)

Yes, and can confirm that logging out and back into Steam and attempting to re-download resutls in the same 0 byte files downloaded.
