Stuck on selecting input method?

I cant select between controller and Keyboard. whenever the arrow goes to keyboard it goes back to controller

Both types of controllers are enabled by default, one should not influence the operation of the other.

I can't play either because of this stupid thing, shame too, game looked good

This problem may be due to using a non-Microsoft joystick, if they are not able to start the game you can try disconnecting all joysticks and playing with the keyboard or trying to leave just one joystick.
Sorry for the problems, it will be fixed in the next version.

Thats nonsensical, no other game has decided that my controller is holding left, while at the same time ignoring all my inputs on said controller, how the hell does that even happen... also I see no prompt on the screen for what the confirm button is, might be an idea to add a quick marker for that

Still need that fix, just because you have a bunch of other stuff till "next version" is no excuse to not issue a hotfix NOW for an issue that breaks your game and makes it literally unplayable

Im not sure if the game still isnt working for you but it started to work for me after reinstalling several times.

I would, if it would work, the game is buggy regardless of if I try and use my controller, and there is no prompts on screen to even tell me what to press if I could use my Keyboard

Is your joystick disconnected?
This problem does not occur on other computers but try disconnecting your joystick.
