YouTube copyright claims: is it legit, Nightdive?

Hi,
From a Turok 2 video I uploaded, I got copyright claims for the use of the ingame music.

Copyrighted content: Seeds Of Evil (Menu Music) and Port Of Adia by Darren Mitchell

Claimed by: RepostNetwork

From searching on the web, looks like RepostNetwork has been claiming rights to music they have no right to claim.

• That is why I am asking, does this company act on behalf of Nightdive Studios, or is it a false claim?
  
  
• If it is a false claim, to fight it I (we? probably other people in the same situation) will need a screenshot from Nightdive allowing to use their content for videos.

That's not a nightdive claim. That's Darren Mitchell being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again. He composed the music for the game.

This issue has been getting out of hand compared to usual with YouTube. It's very likely the claimant is a fraud. YouTuber Graslu00 is one example that deals with this constantly, and his advice is to always just dispute it; they aren't real companies and they won't ever actually go through with taking you to court because they don't actually have any grounds.

This - Not legit. Contact SoundCloud support (they own RepostNetwork) and send them a mail about this abuse, they'll release the claims. It's not even Darren Mitchell himself doing these claims, as the OST is owned and distributed by someone else.

You don't need any screenshot, just state that it's abuse and that they'll get rid of it. This is my template for Turok 2 claims:

My videos on YouTube are getting claimed by RepostNetwork on behalf of Darren Mitchell, composer of the soundtrack for Turok 2.

Everything until that point is alright, but the rights to the Turok 2 OST are licensed to Classic Media LLC, distributed by Penguin Random House Ltd, owned by Nightdive Studios and nowhere in Darren's pages is RepostNetwork listed as an official owner to the tracks.

I did this and it took about 3 weeks. They removed the claims and then they were automatically added back like 20 minutes later *face palm*

Do it again, send a complain to their email and YouTube. They do not own the rights.

Now that's bs. Can you dispute a second time on YT? Usually they don't push further past this point since they'd have to take it to court (they won't).

Send another mail if necessary, specially if they didn't answer you. They don't own the rights and are just leeching off of it.

I won't dispute on YT because it's not a video worth doxing myself... so for now I just put the video on private, so they can't benefit unlawfully from it.
