ACHIEVEMENTS DO NOT WORK!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

i managed to get one. and after that its been locked even after following directions

The save file of your game for inspection (the one that you make when you click save). There's only one expected way achievements won't be granted and that's if your save file is flagged that you ever used cheats. We need to see if that's what you did or if something else is afoot.

No. You seem to be misunderstanding both the situation and what I'm asking.
If you ever cheat, the currently active game is flagged that a cheat was used, and that flag is recorded when you save the game. If you load a different save or start a new game, the flag is reset. It only applies to that save only.
Go into your turok2 folder, and under /saves you will see save##.sav (the number is the slot starting from 0). Upload that somewhere so we can inspect it.

Does this require a cheat to be activated, or just a cheat code to be input. Say, for example, I put in the all cheats code (which I actually didn't expect to be the same one from the N64 version) but don't ever enable any of the cheats, does it still disable achievements?

Inputting cheats shouldn't do anything (as that's the same as granting them), only activating them. However the menu cheats aren't the only cheats either as various console commands can trigger this as well.
