Level 5 talismin

so i have been looking for damn near 2 hours, i have the feather and im in the large room with the bottemless pit and the platforms. i see a door with a blue shield on it that leads to the talismin portal but i cannot find the generator. anyone know where to find it?

You have to go to the room next to it that's basicly a circle with a pillar in the middle (the one with two floors, and you walk over the pillar), and blow open one of the walls of that pillar. It's fairly well hidden, and the auomap doesn't really help because of the room above it.
