In any case
For those that are unaware
You can still use Win7 or Win8 to upgrade to Win10
All you need is your Windows key, and to enter it after Windows has been installed(Skip the key activation) then goto the Activation settings and enter your key.
As long as the key used wasnt previously used to register Win10 on a different system it should work.
Microsoft implemented this some time ago to make it easier for people to upgrade.
I tested it out myself last month when i clean installed my sons PC to Win10 from Win7 using the Win7 key to digitally activate Win10.

And yeah, for the Free version, customization is locked, but aside from that its a fully working OS.
No telling for how long it'll be available for though, but it worked for me last month.
