I'm not entirely sure though.
For example, in Port of Adia, the PC version is in a higher pitch, uses a different sounding string instrument (a deeper one), the drums on the PC version are more "techno" or has more reverb, while the N64 drums sound deeper in a way. I thinl I prefer the PC version here personally since I feel it has more power to it. More energy. More intense strings.
River of Souls is very similar, but the N64 has a clearly longer intro "reverb" effect.
Death Marches is very different. I personally like the N64 one more here, as it feels more mysterious.
Not sure about level 4-6 tho

The 30 minute extended version on YouTube from 3 years ago has the full PC version song. The older uploads of the PC soundtrack are missing the final part too and end at the same point as the remaster. That's suspicious as all hell.
There was, however, an official standalone OST released in Japan that featured 13 tracks based on music from the PC version of the game. This OST release is likely the source of the full-length "PC version" songs used in some videos.
