This game is heaven.
If you aren't a fan of the new graphical features, just turn them off.But I appreciate that the devs have gave us options on top of the remastered game.
I hope I'll can find a "sweetspot" between old graphics and new effects.
I will, I am now having a problem with all the textures not loading, or turning white. 0_o Looks like I got some additional tweaking to do.
The important thing is they are an option. I am using a laptop so I do not want a bunch of graphical setting sucking up battery. There is one setting that I like though, and that is Automapping, it actually makes the lighting different between the living things and the environment, has a darkening effect.
Actually, I have a tendency to try to lower the graphics of every pc game actually lol. Right now I turned Half Life 2 in Halfcraft 2. I try to use Directx 7 when I can. In fact, I tend to always turn off every graphic thing, until it starts to look like mud or I lose important game effects.
I need to know if this runs and looks as smooth and crisp as the first game does.
Me too, but never used motion blur, gonna try that. The flare was put in the game for a reason, the way the default game is, the flare has no use. Which kills some of the immersion, I suppose a little Bloom could not hurt.
edit: double the fov for a motion effect!
