Mission failed??
I am playing on hard difficulty, i have activated all distress signals, saved 2/4 children and just finished the part were you fight those robotic looking enemies...

I try go through the portal and it says mission failed?? do i have to rescue EVERY child to go to the next level?? how am i supposed to know what part of the map to look around in? the map is huge.....

Yeah, you have to do all the objectives before moving on. It's gonna take a bit of exploration and probably some backtracking if you haven't played the game before.

Yeah you have to complete the objectives, if you have the objective markers turned it that should show you were they are. They are on the way through the level so pretty hard to miss with markers on.

I have the markers on and I still can't find the one I'm missing. (3/4) The only marker I have left (Because I have back tracked and tried 3 separate times to try and find the last child) is the one pad you use to jump over the big gap for the stone. Which I think you need that feather for, which i thought was in that one portal you went into previously, which wasn't there.

The last child is found by climbing up those boxes/stones and you will see a half ladder...beware it took me 15 jumps to get on it which leads to a switch and the wall opens right near it.

Wow, I was stuck there too I thought you needed an item to actually make the jump. I tried so many times I thought it was impossible.
