I know exactly where the chronocepter piece is, if you want me to tell you.

I'll give you directions. If you want to find the chronocepter piece on your own, then disregard this post. Start level. Go down stairs. You will see two doors with switches infront of them. Ignore them, and turn left. Down the hall you will notice a statue holding a bowl. Turn right. Go through the next door you see. It will have a switch in front of it. Go to the opposite side of the room you are now in. On the right, you should find a tunnel... go through it. Hit the switch to move the wheel covering the doorway. Take a left down the hall. After a short distance you will find another tunnel on the right side. Go through it. You are now in a tunnel maze. Once you reach the end you will be in the room containing the chronocepter piece. Just kill the priest and the piece is yours.

Just for anyone else who wants to know.

I found the piece while looking for the third key, before I realized what I needed to do to get the third key.

The catacombs feel a bit overwhelming when you first delve into them due to the amount of different available paths, but they loop very nicely onto themselves and aren't hard to figure out at all. The map helps in some areas, too. I wouldn't say they are actually all that confusing.

As a kid I remember being stuck in that place for a LONG time, lol. I'm sure with the layout changes it'll be the WTF WHERE AM I GOING experience again. And I don't mind, really. I think getting lost is the point in that level.
