Will I like this game?

So basically I'm trying out old FPS games for past few years and I loved games like Doom, Quake, Blood and Duke Nukem, Half Life but I hated Serious Sam for some reason.
Some people told me that this game is very similar to Serious Sam so I don't know if I should buy it.

I don't know that I'd call Turok all that similar to Serious Sam, other than being an FPS. I think you'd probably like it if you're a fan of older FPS in general. That said, buy it on Steam and try it for an hour. If it's not your cup of tea, get a refund.

Turok 1 is an awesome fun game, just have an open mind to it…. Every time I play the deaths/death screams of enemies make me laugh, you can even juggle enemies as well

Turok is nothing like Serious Sam. SS is a sequence of big, empty arenas with waves of enemies spawning in. Turok has actual level design you need to explore, with fixed enemy placement.

Check out Unreal Gold, too.

Alright, thanks everyone. I tried it out and after 2 hours of playing I have to admit it's pretty great.
I just wish this game wouldn't freeze for me every 5 minutes. Don't know how to fix it.

Don't be afraid to try out the workshop content :D It can increase the fun long after it's over :D Also hard mode and such

Aight just finished the game. It was fun but lmao why the chronospecter thing is so OP. It kills the final boss with three hits xD

I got couple of them by an accident because I was just looking for the exit and the level keys. After the third level I realised that the infinity sign in front of the portals must be important so I came back to one level and was more careful in the last two levels.
So yeah I got 5 parts by looking for the exit, that's most of them.

Well, I'd say you got rewarded for your exploratory nature (or your stumbling across them in the search for the exit).
