Where is the German Voice Acting?

I have this game in retail here next to me. And this Game is full in German. So where does the Steam version dont have this? I will buy this Game, but without German voice,....

Hello! As a team, we actually felt that the German voice acting was inferior to the English voice acting, and decided to drop it. In other words this means that you can select to play the game with German texts & English voice acting.

So, now i found a compromise. I buy this Game now on Steam and download it. Then i am install my retail german version and overwrite my Steamversion with this Version. Now i have German Voice acting. And IMHO i think the German version is better. ^--^

Are you serious? I could understand the problem if you may not have the rights for the german voice acting, but this is hardly understandable. Why isn't it appropriate to let the customer decide in which language he should play?

I played Alpha Polaris a few years ago with the german synchro and I enjoyed the game. I would definitely buy the steam version if you provide the full german version.

Please rethink your decision. :)

Yeah.

Without the german Synchro i will the game delete from my wishlist.
It´s a very wrong decision didn´t port ALL features to the steam-version.

Wow....just wow... first game I refunded...and I have over 600 in my library.

Ich kann nicht wirklich nachvollziehen, wie man grottenschlechte deutsche Synchros den englischen vorziehen kann.

Insbesondere rall ich nicht, wie man sich dann hier noch derartig beschweren kann.

Was dieses Spiel angeht reißen beide Synchros einen nicht vom Hocker und den Synchronsprechern hätte ich an Stelle der Entwickler auch kein Geld mehr gegeben, um diese "Leistung" in die Steam-Version zu packen.

Dann sei doch so nett und gewähre anderen die Gnade wählen zu können, während Du selbst ganz ohne Sprachausgabe spielst. So ist dann jeder zufrieden. Dazu müsste man aber akzeptieren, dass der eigene Maßstab nicht allgemeinverbindlich ist. :)

Ich find die deutsche Synchro gut, zumindest die, die es in der Demo gab. Und warum soll ich mich mit weniger zufrieden geben, wenn die Synchro längst eingespielt, bezahlt und ins Spiel integriert worden ist ?
Wollte ich nativ Englisch sprechen wollen, wäre ich als Tommy auf die Welt gekommen.
Wieauchimmer, Spiel mit deutscher Sync wird gekauft, sonst halt nicht.

Thank you from Germany - i will refund this Version and maybe someday i will look for some used Retail Versions online. I would rather buy a 10€ used Retail, than this 3€-Sale Version. Ridiculous to cut the Ger Sync out, if there is one. Its the same with Scratches. Totally fine ger Sync, but on Steam, cut out. Without the original and totally satisfying german sync, I DECIDE to refund this inferior eng sync version. *facepalm*

Es soll ja Deutsche geben, die kein Englisch können. Für jene ist eine Englische Sprachausgabe in etwa genauso interessant, als ob ihr das Spiel exklusiv auf Türkisch oder Chinesisch synchronisieren würdet. Besser ne grottige Sprachausgabe als gar kein Verstehen...

Irre ich mich, oder habe ich das damals schon in Deutsch spielen können ? - Hmm, war möglicherweise nur die Demo, die ich in Deutsch gespielt habe.
Laut Steam-Shopseite ist die Oberfläche in Deutsch verfügbar. Gleichmal starten und selbst nachschauen.
Edit: Spiel wurde lokalisiert, alle Texte sind nun in Deutsch, die englischen Dialoge hören sich aber auch gut an.

Das Spiel scheint in Finnland entwickelt worden zu sein, also könnte man auch mal eben Finnisch lernen, die haben in ihrer Sprache "nur" 15 Fälle, das Deutsche 4 :P. Mir reicht aber die deutsche Oberfläche zum Spielen.

Dank an die Entwickler fürs Verschenken des Spiels !
