Moon Beam Bug
During the season, I searched every day (mostly on birches), but could not find. Has anyone been able to find this bug?

Which season were you looking in? I haven't been able to find it yet in Winter or Spring.

I've only looked in Spring but so far I've only found: Sunburst Beetle, Starlight Bat, Constellation Worm, Moon Snail, Pointed Snail, Maple Moth, Pulsar Fly, and Woodlouse.

Looking at the tab I think I'm still missing Moon Beam Bug, Milkyway Owlf..., Moon Butterfly, Sun Snail, and Sun Butterfly so I'm wondering if I need to advance the season from Spring to find them.

The whole summer :\ Do you think the beetle is seasonal?!
Well, initially I assumed it was a rare beetle that spawns on the trunk of a large birch tree. But I'm not sure about this anymore...

It does spawn on a few of the birch trees and the bridge made out of birch. I have had problems too sometimes in getting it. But if you can't find it in one season (it isn't a seasonal bug) the island will reset the next season on the 5th and you might be able to find it. It rotates with the sunburst beetle and woodlouse.

Oh thank you! I could not find it, but I was looking exactly on the big birches and on the base of the bridge.
I created a backup on the 4th and checked the 5th, 6th and 7th, then rewrote the save again. I did this several times, but I could not find the beetle. This is annoying.

i went trough numerous seasons without any luck
could there be a special spawning condition or someting else im missing?

Check the cave walls too. Looks like the spawn spots might have been changed since I got them during beta testing.

Yeah, I searched for these beetles several times on a birch post in a cave, and on the walls, but to no avail. And I also tried to find it on the island (which you get to by means of a PC). Oh, and on the walls of the islands too. Anyway, thanks for the advice, because birches are already nauseous.
