Is it possible to have a dog and a cat as pet same time?

Does anyone know this by chance please? And how can I get a second pet? In this special case I would even appreciate any cheat for it!

well, I think you might be able to purchase another dog/cat house from the catalogue? (not there yet myself), but you can always go to your games settings, select creative, go in and get yourself an extra dog or cat house go back to menu, and turn off the creative and reenter your game, there you go. ^_^

At present you can't buy a second from the catalogue.

set your options when you start your game up. allow friends to join. have a friend who has the other type of pet join you and poop down the dog/cat house. do the same for him/her.
bingo bongo. now you got both cat and dog.
