You go bug catching and whenever you catch a butterfly, there's a chance for you to get the 'mysterious butterfly'. If you place it down, it will spawn an NPC that is the museum curator.

It's either you probably didn't notice you missed something through interacting with the museum sign or it is one of the bugs the other users were whining about after the update.

Pink Lily, you probably don't have the 'right' displays for the museum. I encountered this as well. It would be nice if they specified which color display is needed. I believe you need the black fish & bug displays to make the building 'complete'.

That's why I follow orders by buying the normal ones and not try to be cheeky and buy the fancy looking ones ^ ^

When you get the finished dino bones put them together to get the complete dino. job done
