I'm collecting bunny phones!

I've got half a dozen so far, and no one seems to want to own up to having lost them (one lady did lose one, but when I found it she said she'd already found it, so I kept it). I can't seel them, so I'm currently decorating my house with them. Any other ideas?

You must return the item the same game day to the relevant villager. You can check which one it is by talking to the innkeeper Rowan; he blabs who is having problems and its usually one of the ones he talks about. Failing that talk to all of them. They give you a reward if you return it. I recommend holding on to them if you fail to return it because if they say they've lost said item, you can just pick one off your shelf.
I think there may be a bug with this because I recently found two and no requests for lost items were available; there was a festival going on at the time.

Yeah I find them even when no one wants them, and I'm saving them for later. Useful to know requests last the day, bit unreasonable asking me to make you carrot cake a few days in Cecile....

I just throw them on displays and shvles in peoples homes/stores, I dont need any more Hockey balls anyway.

We are probably looking into a way you can hand those in after a day for a smaller prize. (Maybe money.)

I found a phone and tried giving it to the cat girl and she kept repeating the fish pond directions then walked off with my phone.
No reward or mention of it. :/
