stop or freeze time?

As the title says...

Is there a way to stop or freeze time? I'm getting just a bit annoyed of passing out while trying to build a house, AND I'm on "day 4" of trying to build it lol

just pause the game with ESC key lol. I brought the pause menu up and went to get snacks, do a bit of chores and came back, nothing progressed.

Alternitively, dont press the spacebar to leave your bed.

I meant during building, I know the escape button, it's allowed me to take bathroom and smoke breaks lol

If you want to cheat, there is /stoptime (after doing /enablecheats.)

Honestly I would love just a time scaling game optoin even if it was a set at map creation only thing. Days zip by WAY to fast I'm already in summer and have no idea where my time went. my house is still broken I have like the worst barn ever and most of a fishing hole.

FYI not "cheating" I just wanted to build in this world, I have another world where I'm "playing"

That's all good. I meant cheating as in you won't get achievements and whatnot.
