Some kind of level practice mode. Pick a difficulty (that you have unlocked), pick a stage, try that one level. Could be a good way to become familiar with some of those patters (I'm looking squarely at you, buzzsaw stage).

There is already a practice mode in the game, but you can't select the exact stage.
