not even close, but 'frog fractions' is like it (free web browser game)
NES X-men asked you to input the special code to do the final level. the code was on the box, and also printed on the game cartridge sticker just in case
Genesis X-men asked you to reset cerebro to stop the killer virus. You had to hit the reset button the on Genesis and when the game rebooted it said cerebro was stopped and you can move on to the final level.
Metal Gear Solid had a codec needed on the back of the cd case. The in game person told you to look there for her radio frequency.
Not sure if I should thank you for this or not. Bought it yesterday and I never thought a game that looked like this would be this terrifying. Awesome game.
Also thanks for all the suggestions. I'll definitely check all these games out.
