How can I jump in the Text-based pony island?

Well guys, i have a little problem here. When I start the text-based pony island for the first time, i was in the options and click in <fix start menu>, then i back to the principal menu, and started the game. Well, when the gate is coming, i have 3 options <jump> <shoot> and <do nothing>. I write <jump> but nothing happens. I write again, and again, and try <shoot> but the game show me no answer. I must write do nothing to the game shows something. So, i back to the principal menu, and was in the options, and click in all the options. Then i start the game again, and i STILL CAN'T JUMP. Someone please, can help me???

I'm guessing that Lucifer's programming is fairly shoddy when it comes to typing them when they're not exactly "JUMP," "SHOOT" and "DO NOTHING" without the punctuation.

You need to just write jump, without anything else.

thank u guys, i found the problem. I play with the language in Portuguese, and the game shows me <jump> as <pula> and i write "pula" but what i have to write is "pular", in the infinitive. This happens just in portuguese, because jump already is in the infinitive verb.
