Leveling-up your way through Adventure Mode ?

Has anyone managed to level up their way unlocking the pony wings without resorting to the hack provided by hopeless_soul ?
I would have tempted the adventure, but the exp doesn't save upon quitting the game, so one would need to do this in a single session of play...

To try speeding up the process I attempted to -how ironic- hack the game using Cheat Engine, but couldn't find any useful memory to manipulate there.

I've done it. It takes about two hours. If you level up without cheating, you get a little snippet of dialogue from Lucifer, but it doesn't effect the game or give you any story.
