ultron undone glitch

when fighting ultron in the final level I know he's supposed to grab thor and then lose his last life. however he just jumps down and I can't move or switch character making the level unbeatable

The game is buggy for sure so just try again and maybe you'll have better luck. I've had several crashes, but nothing has been unbeatable.

It happened to me two or three times in a row, but I kept running the level until it finally "didn't glitch" and I was able to proceed.

I payed closer attention to this scene this last time around (already completed game to 100% once). I've learned to switch to Vision BEFORE Ultron swoops down to grab Thor. That way, regardless if Ultron is actually able to grab Thor, Vision is ready to bring the final blow to end Ultron. However, as I am"swinging" at Ultron to bring that final blow and nothing is happening, I notice Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, on the ground "glowing." As I approach it, "X" (or is it "B") appears, letting me know that Vision can pick up Mjolnir so as to bring an end to that last heart for Ultron.

I believe that has been my problem all along. I kept trying to take out Ultron's final heart "barehanded" with Vision when all I needed to do was pick up Mjolnir to make that final attack.

So for those of you stuck on this level for whatever "bug" reason, have Vision look for and pick up Mjolnir to end Ultron. Just remember to switch to Vision BEFORE Ultron swoops down for Thor in case one of the "bugs" you're dealing with is not being able to switch from Thor to Vision once Ultron has swooped in for his attack.

This is a deal-breaker. I could make due with all the other glitches and bugs in this game. But the fact that the game is bugged to a point where the END BOSS becomes unbeatable, and only sheer luck will determine if it glitches or not, is simply not okay. And the fact it hasn't been fixed in the Steam version yet is very unprofessional.

My Grandad has this glitch, Ultron swoops down but freezes and never grabs Thor. Thor never drops his hammer. There's no way to hit Ultron again. The game is unbeatable. Is there a way around this? He has game on PS3, I was wondering if they'd released any patches as my Grandad doesn't have the internet to download them.
