Help: How to fly and heat ray at same time?

I'm in the Helicarrier Havoc level with Cap and Iron Man. I have to burn the gold panel with Iron Man's heat ray while flying in front of it, but of course the button that shoots the heat ray is also the button that decreases Iron Man's altitude. So, when I push button #3, I just go down rather than shooting the heat ray.

I've tried changing the button bindings on my PC controler and have tried switching to keyboard, but the control key for heat ray is always also the button for going down.

Arg. So, how do I fire my heat ray while flying when playing on a PC? Suggestions? Thanks.

when your in the air have puched down the button h and you will be fireing the heat ray :D

Or if that didn't help you try changing to the suite that has the heat beam. 2 of them don't. the MK6 is the only one that does early on.then you should have the power.
