BTW, I asked this question because I just got this game and have been playing it NEW.
No. It's just that the game has some incredibly, incredibly poor picks for some of the lines played during battle. E.g. Tony's "There's no version of this where you come out on top" was originally spoken pre-battle. Iirc it was in a casual monologue where Stark was grand-standing against Loki, in a bid for time to get his new Mk 7 armor ready to deploy.
On top of that, most of the audio lifted from the movies has volume normalization problems. (E.g. Cap's "Hey! That's enough!" is barely audible.)
IMHO I wish they would go back to miming rather than using the stupid audio if it's budget constraint! But proper VO would be better
I am all for the voice acting, but movie rips you need to find a balance because Hobbit, LOTR etc almost always have a weird mix of things. If you want to set a standard for ripping movies dialogue use Force Awakens as a blueprint of how to do it and get the voice actors to do it or just re-record if you cant get them because too much iffy voice work is happening now.
Props to the Force Awakens guys though, surprised they got the cast to record new lines (including Harrison Ford and co).
It has the unfortunate side effect of being very awkward, the rips are low quality and poorly used.
