I CAN'T PLAY WITH THE CONTROLLER

i tried ever single thing that they said in tutorials or in foruns and isn't working can someone pls help me, every time i try to play with controller it starts with 2 players and it cant be solved with anything

first you have to use ds4 windows then go to settings and active hide ds4 controller

Hell no....A years ago I remember when i played Lego game with game pad and it was fun... But now when I try to the game/tro several Lego games/ not even notice that there IS game pad plug in and can't change controls settings ...any help or ideas?

My controller is fine....playing Mortal Kombat Injustice or even N64 and PSX emulator...Everything worked but not on Lego games.I wonder what I'm doing wrong

It might help to disable Steam from controlling your gamepad. The game wants to have control of that hardware and Steam is very stubborn and does not like to share it. It makes no sense I know.
In Steam >> Settings (click on the top left corner where you see the word "Steam" ) and go to Controller on the left side panel, then select General Controller Settings. Just remove the check-boxes beside every thing you see on the next screen and the game will have control of the Controller again. Close the window and try launching your game. If that doesn't work you may need to follow the directions in the following tutorial which shows you how to manually access your Mappings.dat file to fix the issue.
