The game has horrible FPS for me
I have a really power NVIDIA Gaming Laptop but when I try to load the game up the frame rate drops significatly. This is not the case for any other Lego Games I have besides Lego Worlds. So I am really confused on why it happens with this game and if anyone has any ideas. I tampered with the settings in game a lot and even tempered with my NVIDIA settings but nothing has fixed it and I am worried I won't be able to play this game when the frame rate is just awful like this. If anyone has advice on what to do please let me know, thanks

I had a similar problem and lowering most of the things in effects settings fixed it.

I wish I could say this helped but I tried it and it still didn't fix anything. It really sucks cause all my other LEGO games work perfectly fine but this one just for some reason Lego Marvel is just acting like it is running on an apple mac and can barely function properly. It's so weird and I just don't know if there is a solution for me :(

Here is what usually works for me...what you need to do is all of these following things.

1. You need to set your Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768.
2. You need to set your Texture Quality to Low.
3. You need to set your Windowed Mode to Off.
4. You need to set your Borderless Mode to Off.
5. You need to set your Vertical Sync Mode to Off.

These sorts of settings will greatly reduce the amounts of lag, screen freezing, and game error shutdown bugs, glitches, and issues in not just this particular LEGO game, but also any of them that are on Steam as well. Please let me know if these steps helped you out with your problems in any sort of way. Thank you.

Yeah, sorry for the late reply but specifically the issue is that it is somehow either capped at 10 FPS or the game isn't running on the right processor (not sure if that is the right word) and it causes the game to just run at a measly horribly low frame rate making it impossible to play the game and enjoy it at the same time. I can mess with in game settings. But to completely honest, I don't think that in game settings will change anything. I think something needs to be done externally. The problem is though I have no idea how to do that and where would even be a good place to start looking for help and answers.

I have the same issue. The older Lego games run perfectly (Harry Potter, Superheroes) but Avengers and Superheroes 2 both run at 10fps. (The laptop is fairly new, I play much more demanding games without hiccups.) The CPU runs at about 1-2% and the GPU at about 20-30% in some kind of a power saving mode.

This is EXACTLY my issue and situation with not just LMA, but Lego Worlds and LDCSV. Including when I check my issues with my CPU in task manager where it seems to be taking up so much power and is condensing it as if it is trying to save my PC from having a meltdown. I am relieved to know some else has the same issue. But it also worries me cause if it is an issue that I and others face then how is it so widely unknown or unsolvable? I just really hope this isn't something that is gonna have to back me into a corner to buy a stronger and more expensive PC. Especially moving away from a laptop that apparently has the strongest PC specs available at this time. Cause I spent a lot of time saving up to buy this gem of a system and I just don't want all that effort to be wasted just for me to get a new PC (that might not even be available now) just one year later. I just am really hoping to find a solution to this sooner than later
