Godot 4.4 - reload on focus - SOLUTION
I've noticed a small change since upgrading from Godot 4.3 to 4.4. When I type something—for example, "oK"—and do not save the project, then tab out to a website or another application, and tab back in to continue typing (e.g., "ok2"), the project freezes for a second. Not only do I lose "ok2", but "oK" also disappears.

I can't find any setting to disable reload on focus. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this, I’d really appreciate your help!
EDIT: I found a solution to my problem. Removing the Jolt addon fixed it. It seems Godot 4.4 already includes Jolt by default, so having both causes conflicts.

There is currently a pinned bug on Godot's Github page that sounds like what you describe. Is this the same problem? https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/103828

its kind of similar but not exactly, my issue was that when i write something and do not save it will get lost if i tab out of the godot and tab back in, so the script was reloading to the saved state.
