project is missing,also I can't create a new project.

hello,I just downloaded godot,any time I open it I see a black window that says the following:

Godot engine v3.3.2.stable.official - https/:godotengine.org
OpenGL ES 3.0 Renderer: Intel(R) HD Graphics
OpenGL Batching : ON

project is missing: C:/Program Files (x86)/godot/project.godot

what am I suppossed to do with this message?should I re-instal the whole thing?

also I went to the projects and tried to create a new one(just like in the tutorial of the youtuber Zenva) and nothing happens.
any time I try to create a new project the black window also adds the following text:

ERROR: Could not save project.godot - C:/Program Files (x86)/godot/project.godot
At: Core/Project_settings.ccp:763

does anyone know what to do?

Do you have Write permission to "C:\Program Files (x86)\" when not running as administrator?

That's a fairly uncommon place to put user files, your Godot projects should likely go in your user folder, not Program Files (that's where software gets installed and is mostly treated as read only/protected).

I tried to save them there by creating a new folder just like in the video,okay it works now,but the blackscreen hasn't left.

Run Godot as an admin if you intend to save in C:\Program Files (x86)\

However it'd be a better idea to Not have it in Program Files, and your projects there, This applies in general, things that don't need Admin, shouldn't be installed there, and running programs as an admin is not advised unless you trust the source of the programs you are running as admin... That is just basic Windows Security 101, nothing to do with Godot

Godot is running from a directory you do not have permissions to. [C:\Program Files (x86)\] Creating a GodotProjects subfolder of your main Documents folder and keep everything in there, might work out better for you.
