Exported game flagged as unknown/unsafe
Hey there! Anyone having a problem where their game gets flagged as unknown/unsafe? I'm using Steam's version of Godot and all I've done other than exporting to Windows Desktop was adding an assets license.txt to the folder and zip it.

Yesterday I had Chrome whining about the file being unknown and now windows and norton are doing the same.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

The game itself is running as designed and Virustotal's report shows that there are no viruses, but this flag is surely going to draw people away.

A particular set of virus detection programs could falsely flag various executable files as "unsafe".

But don't fret because these mistakes are common. The only way to prevent this issue is to either block Norton's attempt or remove it from your computer. Sometimes it's a tough call because some files are genuinely unsafe but we'd never know unless they were fully examined. The best way to know if a program is fraudulent is by looking at the file size. The smaller they are, the higher chance of endangerment they'd be especially for .exe files.

Which reminds me, here's a better program[www.oldapps.com] to remove viruses and such.

Thank me later.
