I "purchased" Godot within the Steam console (Windows pc)
tl;dr: Just click the Play/Install button here.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/404790/Godot_Engine/
Right now, I am using the store page to click and start it up.
No, everything is default. I am on windows 7
If you installed through the steam client, it's there, you're probably just not looking in the right place. You do *not* have to add it beyond simply installing it via the steam client.
Not True.
Here is a screen shot of my list of games and software.

and here is a screenshot of the store page of Godot.

Hope this helps solve the problem.
Hover or Click your mouse on the giant, glowing Library button and a dropdown will appear. From this list, pick "Software". You'll know you are looking at the right selection because on the right-side of the Search box it will change to "SOFTWARE" instead of "GAMES" as it shows in your screenshot.
I did manage to get it to display, but I'm still very confused.
Because other softwares are being displayed, but not Godot.
Here is a youtube screen shot video... https://youtu.be/wGFGaFqb3DM
It's on-screen 0:06 seconds into your screencapture. To be honest, I'm starting to wonder if you are just trying to troll us.
It will NEVER be on that List you flip back to at 0:17 because Godot is not listed on Steam as a game. AppGameKit Demo is on that list because it is classified as a Game on Steam and you've confusingly placed it under a category titled "Software" under your Games Library that you keep expecting to see Godot listed in.
Not trolling - I wouldn't go through the effort of all this.
so you're telling me I made the "Software" category and that's not a default list?
I seem to not be able to delete it though.
I'm pretty sure "Software" is a default name list. I can't delete it.
