Could you send us logs for these games that refuse to load? You can find them on your computer at the following location:
<SteamInstallDirectory>\Steamapps\common\Superfight\Superfight_Data\output_log.txt
Generally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steamapps\common\superfight\superfight_data\output_log.txt
I'll add you as a friend on Steam, and once you've got the output_log.txt file, send me a message and we'll take a look.
I'll be playing tonight so we'll see what happens.
In the meantime i'll go into greater detail of what was happening:
1) I was hosting the game, with 3 of my friends. None of us owned any DLC.
It was working ok for the 5 or 6 games we had it. The game loaded.
2) My friend (I'll call him Jim) bought the complete dlc pack.
So everyone joined, I was still the host- with no DLC still.
3) When everyone was ready I clicked start, and then it got stuck in a loading cycle for everyone.
We tried this several times and gave up.
Whether it was the DLC that was the problem or not, I don't know but it is an odd coincidence.
Funnily enough we were able to play again when we selected the basic decks only. It is very strange, do we have to all own the same decks to play?
Update: I do not think it is a deck issue, I was reading the logs and it appears that mics get muted by some of the players when this happens and it gets stuck in a loop.
I asked one person with the most mic problems to leave the group for a test and it loaded perfectly
Let us know if you run into this problem again, and we'll dig through the logs.
When I click start game the mics all seem to switch off and then back on when the loading starts, this is when one of my friends loses his mic that was working just a few seconds ago.
I can talk to everyone else asides during the loading process but it seems to lose him.
When the game is finished, if we manage to get into a game together. The game loses his mic again, but here is the interesting part, the game loses the mic AND the sound for another one of my friends at the end of the match. Causing both of them to need to reboot the game
It is very perplexing. I played with random people last night and I never encountered this issue even once.
I have 2 logs from when the game was refusing to load, I will send them if you happen to be around at the same time as me, but if I'm not please give me an e-mail address to send it to.
Hi there, send them to amor@pipeworks.com and we'll get it to our engineers. Thanks!
Edit: apologies - looks like you're taken care of!
