historic figures

kids cartoons

etc etc

and the ability to blacklist cards for the game to creature a custom match. Like only superheroe and pop culture cards allowed in this game. etc

I'm trying to make the comparasion to Cards against humanity because this game has the potential to be so much better. It already has a better format for online play and interface but lacks the cards needed to creature the awesome kinds of fights you can get with that game

Also to stand out for the other card game I mentioned, maybe add artwork to the cards. Basic artwork to jump start the imagination and give a hint to the kind of card it is.

For example if its a person, then a mugshot of the person (even if its a artwork version and not an actual picture) would help. More than once I saw people draw the "jason" and try to play any person they wanted with the name jason instead of the horror movie icon, because the card didn't specify what Jason it was. I heard Jason Todd played, Jason Bourne, Horror icon Jason, etc. It turns the game into an arguement about how to play the game instead of one about a fight between characters

How does changing the theme take away the imagination?

Helen Keller would only work well with the opposite day card. Thank god for having a choice of three during the picking round. But that being said I think to add a layer of variation it would be kind of cool if you could have matches where you chose each other's cards or was forced to fight with one random card rather than have a choice of 3.

I mean sure we all have the Helen Keller card but how many of us would actually choose it? For me to play that I'd have to have a really crap draw.

Yeah thats another thing, every match I had with the opposite day card everyone had a different idea on how it should be played. Some thought it meant the players had to swap black cards, other thought it meant you swap hands alltogether, and some thought like you did that and that the all cards meant the opposite of what they said.

My idea was to let the twitch viewers pick your cards with hashtags like they do with voting. It gets better as you play since you unlock more cards as you go, but having cards locked behind levels does make the lower level fights repetitive.
