SPOILER - question about damonta
I have killed all the robots around, then i went to the hangar and killed the tinker and saved binh.

But when i go back all the people are killed by new robots. Binh's parents are dead, the 2 lesbian girls are dead... :rshocked:

WHY?

What have i made wrong? Is it possible to save them all?

thx for your help in advance and sorry for my english!

Yes, you can save them all, but you need to kill all the robots. Clearly, you missed some robots.. Perhaps, inside a building or perhaps in the airplane..

oh nooo! lol
I was pretty sure that i have killed every single robot.
I cleared the office, the bar, the plane, the house where Jill and Doc are, the house where hopi and the other girl is and I uncovered the entire map and killed every robot. (at least I thought)

damn hiding robots! ;)

Do i have to clear Silo 7 before killing the tinker?

The most silly part of this is that the destruction is instant the moment you touch the World Map..

holy sheep!
that means they are all dead because i travelled with red to silo 7 to get that treasure before i killed tinker?!
Yes, it sucks. First time I did this, I thought I was going to another area, like the switch from Rail Nomad to Atchisons camp.. Was pretty surprised to see the World Map and without even leaving I returned instantly back to Damonta and found all dead.. Pretty lame.

Yeah, it kinda sucks!
I thought it would be a good idea to get the treasure first, so red isn't with me when i fight tinker, but it was a big fail! lol

But thank you very much for clearing this out! :KissAss:
And thank god or titan that i have made a save after killing all the robots but before leaving damonta... :SmartAss:

This happened to me as well. Unfortunately, I saved the game after returning to Damonta. There really should be a warning before you leave, becuase this really just ruins the game for me. You would think that there would be some kind of hint in the dialog that this would happen if you left. I'm too frustrated to go back to an earlier game and redo the Canyon and all of Damonta.

Rather than lament how everyone had died, better enjoy how reactive the game is. This is where the fun lies.

You ended your sentence with a ? so I assume you are asking a question.

I can't figure out a better way either. After 5 tries, I freed Bihn. Then I tried two ways to beat tinker. Seems I get killer robots murdering the town no matter what. And this is before I've been to silo 7. Maybe it's because I hacked the chain link fence and installed the repeater unit before I beat all the robots? I dunno. I think the thing this game teaches is: a lot of people die, and you should just blow stuff up and move on.

I'll say this: the post-apocalypse doesn't seem like a warm and fuzzy place.

From what they say in this thread, people die if you leave the town while there still are some robots around. Not sure what this has to do with Bihn or Tinker? Why would you leave town without killing every robot? You could just walk around everywhere to make sure there are no robots left, and that should be that.

there are some robots, for instance the robots hiding underground when you go to loot the chest I think filled with human body parts over to the left of the starting area.

so some robots are hiding, you could also avoid some of the larger fights, which either due to not exploring enough or being unwilling to engage several slicer dicers.

Yes, but once you know that you have to kill every robot, from reading this thread and posting in it, why wouldn't you cover the whole map with your footsteps to make 100% sure that you've killed every robot?
