In my opinion all those designs for all those passwords are weak to bad, the designers are really weak to design tricks, divinity original sin shows a hugely better job in tricks design. Ok I admit I didn't found a single one, but also didn't tried search much. I still can evaluate a trick by looking at its hints and solutions, weak job here.
Nevertheless, I wonder if there is a legit way to find it somewhere. Any hints?
Wow those are some stretches. Proteus was the name on that head up for display in the CItadel. The one is impossible since I never played the first. Thats really not good easter eggs... Luckily I had Rose to open the lab door for me. THere is a safe I cannot access anyone know where to find that password? It seems this area is way above my level.
You also have the owl of minerva, linked to a safe in Titan's canyon. On the owl of minerva, you have alpha, theta and epsilon carved. People have tested pretty much everything related to that, to no avail. The password is supposedly hebrew, and can be heard with the radio somewhere in arizona, as part as some discussion in latin.
The game gives lots of tips and clue for codes. Sadly, most of the time, they are not even remotely related to the code itself. I don't know why they did that, it's just pointless to create all those tips, when they are not used at all.
But how could I even think, that these might be the codes for something in a zombie-town?
When did I play W1....? About 20 years ago? There is nothing left in my memory except the horrible fighting-screen...
Proteus hints at Finister and a guy in Atchinson camp talks about Darwin if you have the medal of honor. Not too mention that all these can be hacked. Even the safe can be blown up with TNT.
It's sugar for the fans, if you don't get it, you aren't hindered at all.
Whats the RNC?
Well, it's not about beeing hindered.
I just wanted to know, if there is a legit way to figure all that stuff out.
Might be, that many of these hints make references to the originl game.
But man, I bet most of the actual players weren't even born at these times :)
Same goes for the owl safe, there is a 2pages long post on the forum (google it). People tried a lots of password, until some guy found the password. By apparently listening to a dev conversation.
Now, if you can kindly tell me which is the link between the owl and the word "Rabboni", which is heard through a random broadcast in AZ (which happened on the opposite side of Titan's canyon, AFTER I was done with it), that would be appreciated.
Now that's puzzle solving ! Some of them were found randomly, by listening devs, or even checking gamefiles (the owl safe had people checking the files for it) !
Woohoo, puzzle solving at it's finest !
