Assuming you are talking about Ag Center and the serum because you are pretty vague.
Take the turn and follow the wall past the airlock (just keep following the wall) If you have been given the mixture you will be able to force-attack (don't have to waste ammo of this) the brambles and dismantle them (you should go back and check the other areas to get rid of these brambles while you're still there for some extra loot) to open up a room with a water-tower-looking thing to interact with and finish the job.
Also, anyone who has pod infection should be cured just by being in the same room when you use the resevoir but I can't remember exactly.
I, uh, kind of beta-tested the HELL out of Ag Center.
what?
-They tell you to "hurry" and to bring back pod spores before Matt turns, so if you keep coming back to trade with Matt instead of collecting the pod spores, you've been warned that bad things may happen.
-They tell you to collect the spores so they can synthesize a cure, then describe what the things you're looking for look like, and the door to the complex had one sitting there JUST so you could experience them yourself, so you should know what you're looking for.
-They tell you that there's an East field and a West field, and where your objectives are, and they tell you there's an underground access tunnel to reach the fields, and there's a map, so you should be able to take the directions you were given, compare them to a map, and know where to go.
-They tell you what they're able to do after you help them over the course of the quest ("Thanks for the samples, with these now I'll make a cure, come back later"), so you know when it's appropriate to visit the NPCs and when your time is better spent going back into the field to rescue more people.
HOW is any of this confusing to you, exactly? Sorry, but I've got no patience for players getting pampered yet still expecting more help. The damn quest tells you exactly what to do, and you aren't doing it. Whose fault is that?
