Can't equip rad suits for going to Hollywood

I got from Woodson the rad suits to cross the nothern radiation wall. When I click on "equip" nothing happens (rad suits don't vanish in inventory) and all my rangers die if I try to cross the northern radiation wall. I tried every possibility: give the rads suits to another ranger to equip, tried to tu pull it into the clothing slot, but nothing works. I'm very unhappy and this breaks the game for me. I think it's time for a new patch. So many bugs are still persisting in this game and I spent a lot of time with playing it. Now I can't finish the game :(

Sorry Sear - that's exactly my problem. It doesn't work! First rad suits from Baychovski were fine, done it like you wrote above. But the rad suits made with the cat litter in L.A. map won't disappear from my inventory when I right click the suit icon and click on equip. I can't pass the northern rad wall and my ranger team dies instantly:((((

I tried to move the item from ranger to ranger, did it again, but without success. And I tried to drag the suits over to the cloth slot, where you put armor or shirts or trousers into - it's definitively a bug. I was totally into that game and played at least 3 nights (record is 26 hrs in a row XD).

But thanks for the fast response, think I wait until you guys patched it and see if the bug is still there - btw - I got too that xbox 360 controler bug with stuttery movements.

if you check the rad suits guys they are different Resistance stats and they are also named different cause of them being upgraded just highlight them in your inventory and equip the one with the highest Resistance

I just got the one from Buk, when i equip it gives me the perk, but stays in my inventory and the stat of the item changes down to 2. Just odd quirk with the item itself, still got the benefit tho.

Try double clicking the suit, that's how I equipped them.

Thx pals, dunno why, but I can pass the northern radiation wall now. Last two days it didin't work but today it works, real weird... maybe my windows or another program caused this problem.

Any chance to get a proper rad suite slot like in the old days. This is highly confusing. I restarted a game because I thought my suite was gone.

When you equip a suit the previous suit is put back in your inventory. You can't sell it but you can place it in the stash.

That's why the rad suits don't disappear at this stage of game: the old one were replaced by the new ones...

Geez, and I never thought of looking at the strength of the suits! Thx, Dorok! But to that time I had the issue starting this thread - really - it didn't worked! Equipped the suits and gone dead as I tried to pass the northern radiation wall in L.A. map. Or maybe the bug was caused by playing the game another 24 hrs in one stroke XDDD

You got bad luck also, myself the suit was put back in inventory of another ranger. Moreover I had already noticed I had to check the character panel to check the rad protection level.
