Leather Jerk outfits obtainable?

Is it possible to get ahold of the Leather Jerks metal bucket helmet and large metal chest armor with the skull on the shoulder?

I've been farming them for awhile now in random encounters because I think my heavy weapons user would look just dandy in that stuff, but so far all I've managed to find is a few swanky looking black motorcross helmets.

Well... I just found the helmet which is called an "Iron Helmet" so I'm guessing if the helmet can be obtained the chestplate can as well.

I'm starting to think that you can't find the chest piece with the big shoulders and the skull. I've probably fought well over 50 random battles with the Leather Jerks and while I've found plenty of chest pieces none of them have been that one.

In fact, depsite all the chest pieces I've found on them having different names they've all be the exact same model when used on males or females. Seems like a waste of resources to reuse the same exact clothing model so many times just with different names and descriptions.

I think you can but one thing i know for sure is that you can go on 100 battles or more and never find the piece of clothing you want. Idk why they didnt just simply put clothing shop around. You would think an rpg fixed on the story more then gameplay would have a frigin way to make you play dress up with your crew without making it an rng battle!

Not only that, but more customization period would have been nice. I was so disappointed that nothing was done on that front for the Director's Cut. I'm still baffled as to why there are no gas mask face options for male characters. : |

I agree with you both. I also especially wish there was gas masks or something along those lines for the males. Still baffled by the removal of the baclavas as well.

Yeah me too, one thing I was hoping for in DC was gas masks for male. In W2 you can mod them in and they fit perfectly fine with the male body.

Not to mention there are already males with gas masks in the game such as the followers of Titan.

on one of my playthroughs (non-director's cut) mad monks suddenly started dropping their suicidal belts as loot. on 1 playthrough i never seen such a thing, and on another, i am almost overburdened with them... maybe shoulders of lether jerks are something like this? maybe it's not a random loot item, but a random playthrough item? that would be... interesting.

I suppose that is possible. I did collect a few suicide belts on my run through myself. Looked pretty amusing on my heavy.
