recruiting Gary Wolf

If the plan is to recruit Gary Wolf in Canyon of Titan, does that mean that you'll have to kill monks in order to not kill any of the DBM patrols? Otherwise, having a monk escort appears to trigger attacks from DBM on the way to their hidden HQ.

Actually, you can skip by the DBM I'm pretty sure, just the one checkpoint you need to avoid by blowing up/breaking three gates in a row. Just don't approach the DBM guys with a monk in tow. After you get to the temple you can ditch the monk and head back to talk to the DBM at their headquarters.

recruiting Gary in the DC version is very hard atm, I've tried it twice and finally gave up to get Cain, wasting many hours replaying the canyon, even though is my favorite part of the game.

They changed the requirement to get Gary from the original, supposely you have to actively refuse Sadler and send them the nuke anyway, but it didn't work for me, not sure where or what i did wrong, maybe not enough chrisma.
