New Character Editor?
Anyone used this character editor yet? Appears to have been released today and has DC support.

Well, actually it only edits saves, but so far it seems to be working pretty well.

the problem is that it does not deal with the perk system or the quirk system added in wl2dc.

i have not been able to get any of either to stick when i make changes to teh save file. it might be in the character.bin file but i am not sure how to edit that.

I just used it to rebalance the skills and character attributes I doubled up on because I wasn't paying enough attention to them when putting points in, so I haven't investigated the perk side, etc.

You don't really need a special editor to edit your characters (atributes, skills, perks, whatever). You can edit it in your latest save file by notepad++ (free software, don't mess it with the default windows notepad) or another similar tool that won't break format of the file. I'ts quite simple to do. No progamming skills needed. You can edit both your rangers and recruited companions there.

Yeah, I beautified the XML and got down to finding the necessary numbers and everything, but it was much easier to see visually and do it with a slider. The editor deducts points, etc. without you having to do a manual conversion on paper or a spreadsheet, etc. i.e., first skills are 2 points and then 4, 6...

I was trying to keep my skills to what I had legitimately earned vs. me screwing up the numbers.

...Except it don't work with WL2 DC. "Unhandled Exception"

It was working fine with the DC after the creator released an update, but after I reached Titans Canyon it no longer reads the save files.

It won't do character edits themselves, but it should do game saves. See my correction to the title on the second post. Are you unable to edit saves? I didn't encounter any problem.
