The dialog font is terrible, hard to read
I must say, the new dialog font is pretty terrible to read. It is much more readable in the other version. And it is so important in a game with so much text. It doesn't matter that you can change text size.

It is:
- too thin
- too much of the thin fonts are AA blurred
- overall too grey appearance

Example for very well readable fonts e.g. are in Age of Decadence. https://youtu.be/iVNThgmK2VI?t=1052

I agree, the vanilla game's font was better.

Guys, is a problem with my resolution or the font is like this to everyone?

Exactly how it is looking here, HericStrada.

My font is as clear as day... and too thin but extra large helps. Try tanking your settings. I have to because I have a toaster.

Strange, I find the new font to be much easier to read. Doesn't suit the feel of the game as well though. But that's small price to pay for me to be able to read the text without it giving me a headache.

Yea it's easy to read for me, maybe you guys just neglected to tell us you wear glasses? And maybe you don't when you play games?

Yeah, what's wrong with this font? http://i.imgur.com/chfYkqY.png

How can you not read that? This is even with steams screenshot compression. Maybe you're on a 4k resolution, and should therefore pick the larger font option in-game? I really don't see the problem.

Just a heads up, there are some text display issues that creep up in conversations and on the dot-matrix printer log if you use text sizes other than small. Adjusting the UI / HUD scaling will also affect it.
Everyone can read it, but its just bad typography. See the screenshot in the third posting. It's super crap. Washed out, innecessarily grey (they made names black, but the rest grey-ish). Some letters are not perfectly in line. The "o" in Radio to the right... Compared to proper fonts, e.g. as seen in a browser, the Wasteland fonts are undoubtly bad.

It doesn't feel like Wasteland. It's too bland, too clean. Bring back the old fonts please, the Digitek one.

It'd debatable. What we lack is an option to have bright text on a dark background, which is the proper way to display text on a backlit screen. I can't imagine text options in game from font style to font size to an easy reading display is hard.

I said this several times in beta. They took my (and I assume other persons) suggestion to make the weapon information screens do dark backgrounds and bright text, but not dialog.

Ugh. Just... ugh.
