Add another state to travel too etc, Nevada, New Mexico or Texas for example. This game appears to be finished and inXILE has said in the past that they have no interest in dlc and are working on other projects now so basicly when this game is done its done.
Tools would expand the life of this game by the limits of modders imaginations.
Just one reply devs, 2 secs of your time please. I dont require a novel from you or explanations or plans, just a simple YES or NO would answer all i want to know.
Is there hope that this game has a future in modding or will it just end up as one more dead and done game in my steam library like the non DC version?
To use fargo's own quote from his kickstarter pitch "imagination is king" give us the tools to use ours.
Imagine making a team of four people into anything you want like Jedi, Bounty Hunters or Smugglers with weapon skills like Lightsaber, Blastor Pistol, Blaster Rifles, Heavy Weapons (BH weaponry). Then you can have fun quirks like Stormtrooper training which is penalty to accuracy but a pro to something else. The overworld map could be a galaxy where you travel to other planets. Such good ideas, but no tools. :(
Well yeah a lot could be possible with a decent set of tools or even just reskins on workshop would be cool but I cant get any reply from them and from looking at this thread, after a month since I posted this and we have grand total of 3 people that are even interseted in modding this game so its not surpising that they have given us no tools or bothered to answer.
I haven't played the directors cut and probably never will. I have reviewed the major imbalance issues still persistant with fire arms, melee weapons, and umarmed. I had hoped this developer would have been in tune with their fans, but clearly I was wrong.
We will most likely never see any supported mod tools for this game, yet get a lot of excuses about how certain licenses etc, stop them from doing much while all these other games using Unity have no issues at all with mod support.
