Healing a mysophobic character
Is it possible to heal a character with that perk?

I have not played with the perk myself. However, from the description, the character cannot use healing items on self. Other characters (with enough Field Medic) should be able to use healing items on the mysophobic character. and the character should still be able to get healing from doctors. Any passive healing based on difficultly level should still work (e.g., full heal on level-up at veteran skill level or lower).

it is unclear to me whether mysophobic also applies to items that remove status effects (items requiring Surgeon skill). A note in the wiki suggests that a mysophobic character cannot use skill books on themselves, and another character has to use a skill book on a mysophobic character.

On level up they do heal fully. I'll have to experiment and see if another medic can heal them. Thanks for responding.

a good offense is the best defense, Get offensive perks and abilities, no need for a little extra healing, when you should be focusing on doing more damage. Half a dozen or so quirks are good for doing more damage to foes. If your even a half decent player your killing the enemies before they can even damage you, and with gunners before they can even get close enough to damage you.

No other medic I assume? Have an other party member use "Pain Reliever" pills on them, appears to work fine.

Nah, the perk my medic has makes being healed by anyone impossible. Probably shouldn't have used for my first run.
