Ranger with Leadership
Does the ranger with the Leadership skill get the bonus from it too besides the allies?

From what I've seen and read online, no. Apparently having leadership prevents you from getting any leadership benefits, even from other characters. So it's actually really good to make your leader a clown apparently.

I generally would suggest making the leader a medic, and not try to get the aim bonuses at all. maybe use explosives. but usually theres some healing to do.

Yes a ranger with Leadership doesn't get the bonus from their own skill. But they can get it from another character. You should always give it especialy to one of your four man character but if you give it to a companion, they will desert very often without the bonus! Your main characters cannot desert so it is ok for them.

It's best to give it to a healer as red255 suggested.

I think he really tried to write Rogue and not actually leaving the party forever.

Has anyone tried giving it to multiple rangers? It may have been outdated info but online I read that someone tried giving an entire party leadership to test it and no one got the bonus. If that's true then having leadership prevents you from getting any leadership bonus. If it isn't true do leadership bonuses stack from multiple leaders?

My leader ranger shows the icon above her head so I assume she's getting the bonus. I gave it to my medic, someone with low ap weapons (pistols, fists, smgs) that can move around a lot so I can bonus my sniper, rifleman, and bruiser as necessary.

From what Ive read from multiple post, Googling results and what not(different forums), Leadership never stacks.

You only get the bonus from the highest one. Thus, having multiple people with Leadership is a waste of skills.

If the Ranger with Leadership doesnt get his own bonus from his own Leadership skill then:

If Ranger Alpha has 5 Leadership and Ranger Bravo has 6 Leadership:
Then Bravo will have the bonus from Alpha.
Everyone else(including Alpha) will get the bonus from Bravo.

Well I do know from playing through that they don't get the bonus from their own leadership. My first party was not well built and I had leadership on an assault rifle character. I had a second AR character as well. Despite having the same skill levels and weapon mods my leader had less chance to hit. Although Waffle is right they have the icon over them but it still doesn't apply to themselves.
