Re-starting Game. Anyone Played Supreme Jerk?
I kind of sort of let a character die cuz i thougth i would get to create a new one for a replacement. But I'm just going to restart the whole game. I really wasn't having much difficulty and I'm thinking about playing it on its hardest setting. Has anyone here beat the game on Jerk?

I might add do y'all prefer "brawling" the most of the melee weapons. I was going blade with a decent character and I just heard from a youtuber that blade sucks.

Yeah, plenty of people here beat the game on Supreme Jerk, myself included. It's challenging, but not unfair, so go for it. As for melee, I'm not sure about brawling, but I assure you that both blades and blunt work wonders from beginning to the end, as long as you make your character mobile and give him/her all the related perks. Sniper rifles are also a must. Assault guns work great. The rest is lower-tier.

I'm playing Supreme Jerk right now. I'd really recommend you complete the game at least one before you give it a go. It's doable, but you really should know what you're doing first.

That YouTuber may have been talking about the original Wasteland 2, wherein blades were mediocre at best. In the Director's Cut, they're fantastic (though its a couple of weapon tiers before they really take off). All of the melee options are, actually.

I tried it, expected realistic game balance, but after putting over dozen bullets into enemy's body without incapacitating him, I trashed it. I wouldn't even mind if my character or follower dies of just one headshot as long as he or she can do same to their enemies.

I realized with a "character editor" think i downloaded for custom portraits that I can edit the characteristics of those 3 recruitable rookies in Ranger Citadel. I doubt I'll restart the game now.

You generally one-shoot any kind of enemies from the sniper rifle, if it's a headshot. Also, my blunt melee ranger one-shot most of the enemies by the end of the game.

Yeah, on Supreme Jerk. I might be wrong about one-shotting in most of the cases, but at the very least my sniper could take two shots per round (with the required perks) and, if both shots went to the head, it resulted in a kill. So, my phrasing might have been incorrect there, and I should have said "one kill from the sniper per round".

For the blunt melee ranger, one-shots started happening after acquiring the combat shooting. In fact, his damage outclassed even that of my sniper. Hits in torso resulted in 600-650 damage, and he had enough action points to make 2 or 3 attacks per round (if standing still) - enough to bring down even the toughest of opponents and bosses.
